SDG
Our commitment to the SDGs
At Photokrete, we develop a photonic mortar that protects the climate and generates environmental, social, and economic impact. This technology meets international sustainability standards and contributes directly to the Sustainable Development Goals.
The planet is the ultimate beneficiary of our innovation. The reduction of urban heat triggers a chain reaction: Less thermal stress → Lower global energy consumption → Lower climate impact.

Technology with passive cooling capacity
Through this advancement, mortar abandons its passive role to become an active component in climate adaptation. Our technology is capable of:
- Lowering urban temperatures by up to 12 °C during extreme heat events.
- Reducing the surface temperature of materials by up to 40 °C.
- Decreasing cooling demand by more than 70%.
Our solutions cool cities without additional energy consumption. They reduce air conditioning demand and mitigate the Urban Heat Island (UHI) effect through the intelligent management of solar radiation. They improve thermal comfort and enhance urban habitability through a scalable and economically viable proposal.
At Photokrete, every degree less in the city is a tangible step toward a more sustainable future.
